En tant que constellation, ils peuvent constituer un \u00e9l\u00e9ment efficace du syst\u00e8me europ\u00e9en de surveillance de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale. Avec Swing, nous allons d\u00e9montrer la pertinence des nanosatellites en tant qu\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale, et en tant que moyen d\u2019amener l\u2019industrie \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la surveillance de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale \u00bb<\/em>, explique Juha-Pekka Luntama, chef du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/Space_Safety\/Space_weather\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bureau de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale<\/a> du Programme de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 spatiale de l\u2019ESA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab Comprendre le comportement de l\u2019ionosph\u00e8re est essentiel afin de mettre en place des services de navigation et de communication fiables. Les particules charg\u00e9es \u00e9lectriquement qu\u2019elle contient peuvent avoir des cons\u00e9quences critiques sur les services GNSS de haute pr\u00e9cision en provoquant des erreurs de positionnement ou de synchronisation. Les donn\u00e9es de Swing permettront de mieux comprendre les effets de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale et de fournir des pr\u00e9visions pr\u00e9cises sur l\u2019\u00e9tat de l\u2019ionosph\u00e8re \u00bb,<\/em> d\u00e9clare Melanie Heil, coordinatrice du segment spatial au Bureau de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale de l\u2019ESA et responsable du projet Swing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab Les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques spatiaux constituent un risque majeur pour nos infrastructures sur Terre et dans l\u2019espace \u00bb,<\/em> note Holger Krag, responsable du Programme de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 spatiale de l\u2019ESA. <em>\u00ab Le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de m\u00e9t\u00e9o spatiale capable de fournir des informations exploitables aux op\u00e9rateurs europ\u00e9ens d\u2019infrastructures critiques est l\u2019un des principaux objectifs du programme. \u00bb\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab <em>Hemeria est ravi d\u2019accompagner la premi\u00e8re mission de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale de l\u2019Agence spatiale europ\u00e9enne. Je suis \u00e9galement heureux de constater que notre \u00e9volution vers les services de donn\u00e9es soit ainsi salu\u00e9e, en coh\u00e9rence avec l\u2019\u00e9mergence rapide de notre division \u201cIntelligence et Data\u201d, qui fournira donc les donn\u00e9es spatiales \u00e0 l\u2019ESA \u00bb<\/em>, d\u00e9clare Nicolas Multan, PDG d\u2019Hemeria.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Swing, le satellite et ses instruments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Swing adoptera une orbite h\u00e9liosynchrone (SSO), un type particulier d\u2019orbite polaire qui permet au satellite de toujours visiter un m\u00eame endroit \u00e0 la m\u00eame heure locale. \u00c0 une altitude comprise entre 500 et 600 km, le nanosat effectuera des mesures in situ de l\u2019ionosph\u00e8re et suivra son \u00e9volution dans le temps.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le satellite sera con\u00e7u par Hemeria sur la base de sa plate-forme de nanosatellites HP-IOT. La charge utile sera compos\u00e9e des quatre instruments suivants :\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 DREAM \u2013 Moniteur de rayonnement \u2013 CNES, Steel Electronique (France);\u00a0<br>\u2013 XFM-NS \u2013 Moniteur de rayons X \u2013 Isaware (Finlande) ;\u00a0<br>\u2013 mNLP \u2013 Sonde de Langmuir \u2013 EIDEL (Norv\u00e8ge) ;\u00a0<br>\u2013 Aquila \u2013 Instrument GNSS RO \u2013 Syntony (France).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les donn\u00e9es de la mission seront int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans des mod\u00e8les num\u00e9riques de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale qui fourniront des pr\u00e9visions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques ionosph\u00e9riques pr\u00e9cises \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 des utilisateurs. Les donn\u00e9es de la mission Swing seront \u00e9galement pr\u00e9cieuses pour la recherche scientifique sur la haute atmosph\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le satellite sera construit par Hemeria en tant que ma\u00eetre d\u2019\u0153uvre, ce qui comprend l\u2019acquisition des instruments, le d\u00e9veloppement, l\u2019int\u00e9gration, les essais, la campagne de lancement, la mise en service dans l\u2019espace de la plate-forme du satellite ainsi que les op\u00e9rations du satellite.
